Carly Kent

Carly Kent

Funeral Director

My name is Carly and I’ve lived in Salt Lake City my whole life. I enjoy spending time outdoors, mostly kayaking and hiking around Disneyland. I am always planning my next adventure around the world, I’ve only been to a handful of countries so far, but I’ve been all over the United States. I’m a diehard Swiftie and Trekkie, who enjoys oil painting and now getting my bachelor’s degree in graphic design. My passion is learning new things, and I am constantly looking for answers on Google when the curiosity gets to me.

I graduated from Salt Lake Community College in Mortuary Sciences in 2020 and have been working in the funeral home industry since 2017 in various capacities until I successfully gained my license in 2021. I became interested in doing funeral work after my dad passed away in 2015 and I had a such a positive experience with the funeral home and thought I could give back to my community with doing funeral service. Growing up, service was such an important part of my life through Girl Scouts, and I wanted to continue that service here at Holbrook Mortuary and my hope is to make a positive impact on the world no matter how small.
