Anna Ruth (Jensen) Christensen

Ruth left us on April 30, 2017 and was released from her struggle with Alzheimer’s.  She was born in Burley, Idaho on March 14, 1931 to Alfred Jensen and Edith Adelia Nye.  Music was an important part of her life and she shared her talents with countless piano students. She was married for many years to Doral G. Christensen, and raised five daughters.  She was a faithful member of the LDS church throughout her life, and loved serving in many different callings.  

Preceded in death by her parents, her sister Eldene Allen, and her brother Bryant Jensen. Survived by her daughters Ellen (Bill) Oates, Laurel (Doug) Weaver, Kathy Christensen, LeAnn Palmer, Lyndi (David) Van Mol, 17 grandkids, and 18 great-grandchildren.  

The family expresses appreciation to the Beehive Home of West Jordan and Brighton Home Health and Hospice for the loving care they provided.  

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00am at the West Jordan Mountain View Stake Center, 2901 West 9000 South. Friends and family are invited to visit Thursday evening 6:00-8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Friday morning 9:30-10:30am prior to the funeral.
