My family loves Aunt Barbara. I loved her even more when I read my daddy's (her brother, Bart) autobiography. After their mother died, he said:
"My older sister Barbara at 14 years old took over taking care of a baby, me. she would clean me up everyday when she came home from school. I told her I was her first baby and she became a mother to me."
I am grateful to her for that unselfish service. My family gives our deepest sympathy.

Although I had seen Barbara rarely over the last several years, I always felt affection for her. In my early childhood we saw each other with our respective siblings on many occasions, especially at our Grandmother Cheshire's home.
