Barbara Ann Stewart Price passed away peacefully August 5, 2016, after an extended illness. She was born in Ogden, Utah on December 4, 1943 to Isaac Perry and LaRue Carlson Stewart.  Barbara was raised in Logan, Utah. She married Kelly Roy Price June 12, 1970 in the Logan Utah Temple.

Barbara received her Bachelor's degree from Utah State University and PhD in mathematics from the University of Utah. Barbara and Kelly later moved to Michigan where Kelly received his PhD.  She taught in the Business School at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she became the Associate Dean, and then became the Associate Vice President for Faculty. Barbara and Kelly lived in Brighton, Michigan where they raised two sons - Matthew and Jonathan. She loved riding in Jeeps, visiting her family cabin in Logan and spending time with family. She served faithfully in Church callings in Relief Society and Primary. 

Barbara is survived by her husband, Kelly; children, Matthew and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Mary (Matthew) and grandchildren Ruby, Belle, George and Hannah, and her brother, Perry. She was preceded in death by Isaac Perry and LaRue Stewart.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Jeremy Ranch Ward, 3010 West Saddleback Road (just North of I-80 at the Jeremy Ranch exit). Friends and family are invited to visit at the church Wednesday evening 7:00-9:00 PM and also Thursday morning 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Logan City Cemetery.
