Betty was such a good friend. I remember meeting her and George when we first moved to Oklahoma in 1981 and continuing that friendship. I remember serving with her in the Relief Society Presidency and what an example she was to those she served. She was always ready and willing to help in any way that she could. We spent many hours together with my Mom and Dad (Wendell & Olive) and George. We have the blessing of meeting great people during their time with us and Betty was one of those people for me. I will always remember her with love.

Oh how I loved Betty so much. She was always there for anyone that needed her and such a sweet, loving lady. She was a great friend to my mom and dad. They were close to George too. They are all meeting each other now I'm sure. Prayers and thoughts to Kara and family. Thanks for sharing your mom with us over the years and we shall have wonderful memories to cherish. Betty was a dear friend to my late husband Pete and I here in Oklahoma. She was in the Relief Society presidency for many years and such an example of how to be a mother and a valiant daughter of God to me 41 years ago when I was a young mother.. I still remember when George got baptized how happy we all were and I am so happy she is reunited with George and her children who have already completed their earthly mission. Please know we have missed her so down here in Oklahoma.

It was a privaledge to care of Betty. My heart is full of wonderful memories ,of my time with Betty. She once told me she was known as Princess Betty.
