Brook Ann Knudson, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 9th, 2016.

She was born January 28, 1971 in Hayward, California to Richard C. Knudson and Bonnie Thometz Knudson.  As a child, she was kind, energetic, friendly, and loving.  She quickly made friends with all that she met.  She became a baton twirler in school, where she excelled, winning many trophies and competitions, often leading the event.  She later graduated from Olympus High School and pursued her dream of entering the field of medication.  She took Emergency Medical Technician training and phlebotomy classes, aiming for a career as a Paramedic, saving the lives of those in danger and helping any that were hurt. Later, she went into a career of Airline Service with Jet Blue, where she was happy.  She later gave birth to her son, Christian Lee Knudson.  Always ready to celebrate life, she was a happy person and kind to all.  She enjoyed wearing Costumes, going to events with family and friends, seeing the latest movies, and always looking for a chance to do something with the people she loved.

She never missed an opportunity to care for the hurt or upset, constantly doing what she could for her friends and family.  Her kindness helped many people who went through rough times.  She was sympathetic, caring, tender, and lived her life the way any good human being should; devoting her life to serving others out of kindness and love.

Her desire to care extended to animals as well.  Any hurt or lost animal would find themselves in her care, where they would be fed, loved, and protected until they were ready to get back into the world, whether to be returned to their family or to have a family found for them.

Brook was a loving person to everyone. She would always be there for you, both in good and bad times, ready to help you work through your problems or to help you enjoy your happiness.  She took pleasure in the happiness of others and would constantly tell jokes and make everyone laugh.  A quick wit and sharp mind made sure there was never a dull moment with her.

Her numerous hobbies included Literature, theater, music, art, and making friends that would stick by her forever.

She will be missed dearly by all the lives and hearts she has touched.

She is survived by her parents, Richard C. Knudson and Bonnie L. Thometz Knudson; son, Christian Lee Knudson; siblings, Richard Matthew (Chantelle), Albert (Tiffany), Von, John (Gabriela); nephews, Jacob, Jared, Aaron, Timothy; and niece, Savannah.

Pallbearers will be her son, Christian Lee Knudson; her nephew, Jacob Knudson; and her siblings, Richard Matthew, Albert, John, and Von.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00am at the Holladay North Stake Center, 4395 South Albright Drive, where friends and family can visit Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00pm and Wednesday morning 9:30-10:30am prior to the service. Interment at Holladay Memorial Cemetery.

Thank you to everyone that has helped us in this difficult time, and thank you to everyone who shared their lives with Brook Ann Knudson.  Life is defined by the people we meet and the connections we form, and Brook had an amazing one thanks to everyone who loved her and cared for her.

Until we see you again, watch over us.
