Richard Bryan Alexander is a big deal… he came into this world just under 10 pounds on May 28, 1975. He unexpectedly left this world on October 4, 2016, surrounded by his biggest fans. Squished between 2 adoring sisters, who he loved and protected, Bryan was always looking out for others and eager to help, especially when it came to his mom and dad. But, the brightest light in Bryan’s life was his son, Ashton. There was nothing he loved more than spending time with him. Whether it was playing sports, cooking up a healthy meal, or camping out together Bryan lived for Ashman.

Bryan’s big smile, infectious humor, and funny faces will be remembered by all who knew him. He served an LDS mission and has a special love for the people of Chile. His creative thinking always had him in first place with his Halloween costumes. Bryan was always tapping away on his air drums, rocking and rolling to his favorite tunes. He loved his job at Go Au Pair and knew how to throw a killer party for his fellow employees.

He loved his family. He is survived by his son; his parents Jolene (Ric) Hansen, Dick (Cynthia) Alexander; two sisters Lisa Rasch, Kim (Josh) Crook; 4 nephews (Jaden, Jaxon, Bentley, Cruze); and 2 nieces (Jessica, McLaren). He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Ty Rasch, and his best friend “Tak.” Bryan was always rising up to the challenges life gave him. He is a true hero. We are looking forward to the day we will all be together again.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, 1:30pm at the Pinecrest Ward Building, 2080 East Pinecrest Lane (11530 South), where friends and family can visit Friday evening 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service.
