Carol Lundberg Barnes

Carol Barnes, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 15, 2017 in St. George, UT. She was born January 11, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT to Byron and Hazel Lundberg. She will be remembered as someone that loved life. She enjoyed going to Lake Powell, traveling around the world, and playing cards with family and friends. She will be remembered as a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She leaves behind her husband George, her daughter JoLynne (JJ) Jarman and brother Bob (Marilyn) Lundberg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Frankie (Josh) Krogh, Brittany (John) McClellan, Kelly (Heather) Binkerd; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Byron and Hazel and her son Kelly (Rebecca) Binkerd.

A viewing will be held at Holbrook Mortuary at 3251 S. 2300 E. on Friday January 20th from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 followed by a funeral service from 11-noon. A graveside memorial will take place after the funeral at Wasatch Lawns at 3401 S. Highland Dr. The family would also like to thank all of the medical staff for their love and support during this difficult journey.
