Craig Gee Christensen

Born in Salt Lake City to Margaret G. and Duane L. Christensen March 10, 1957. Craig enjoyed all sports growing up playing little league football, baseball and skiing. He graduated from Olympus High School and the University of Utah. He served a mission to the California, Los Angeles area for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked in the retail sporting goods business in Salt Lake, Washington, Oregon and Alabama. 

Craig had early onset Parkinson Disease, which eventually disabled him. Craig bore his illness without complaint. 

Craig is survived by his father and his sister, Jill Christensen; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Linda Church; and brothers, Kent and Scott. 

The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses and others who have cared for him over the years, especially the Neurology Department at the University of Utah. 

A funeral will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00am at the Grandview Ward, 2930 South 2000 East, Salt Lake City. Friends and family can visit Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Thursday morning 9:30-10:30am prior to the funeral. Interment will follow at approx. 3:00pm at the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, Utah.
