Jeff Paul Scott

On Friday, December 8, 2017, Jeff, beloved son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 32 in Arlington, Texas. Born March 2, 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul W. Scott and Cynthia Sue Scott. He is survived by his father Paul, and by his sisters Jennifer (Jason) and Chelsie. Jeff will also be forever remembered by his nephew, grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles, and extended family and dear friends.

Jeff was a bright, happy child who loved to giggle, move to music and watch Disney movies, especially Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  While he was unable to realize many of his dreams due to his limitations, he graduated from Keller High School and soon moved out of the house and into a Group Home in Arlington.  While there, he loved going to work five days a week and especially the group Friday dinner and monthly dances.

Jeff’s pleasure in the simple things in life brought joy to everyone who knew him.  He will be missed.

As Jeff loved to participate in Special Olympics, we are asking for any memorial donations in memory of Jeff may be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036‐3604.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00am at the Winder West 3rd Ward, 4551 South 1200 East, Salt Lake City, where friends and family are invited to visit 9:30-10:30am prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Elysian Burial Gardens.
