Larry Edward Smith
November 4, 1956 ~ March 9, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years OldLarry Edward Smith passed away on March 9th at the St. Marks Hospital after a brief illness. He returned to his Heavenly Father surrounded by a loving family.
He was born on November 4, 1956 and is the son of Edward F. (Ted) Smith and Beverly (Bev) Smith. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah; he attended Nibley Park Elementary, Southeast Junior High School and South High School.
He loved his family, birthdays, holidays, family dinners, camping out, his computer, riding his motorcycle and his dog, Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; his children, Brandon (Cassia), Ashley (Juan), Curtis (Lara), Vilisha (Walter), Johnnie (Marcy), and Vennette (Clayton); his parents; sisters, Vicki Jackson (David), Karen Newman (Kent), and Susan Craft (Brad); his brothers, Gregory (Tiffany) and David; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will take place at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, on Wednesday, March 15th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A family graveside service will be held at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, on Thursday, March 16th at 10:00 am.
