Laurel always made me feel appreciated. She would often remind me that we are related. She was a kind-hearted, thoughtful friend. I'm sorry I couldn't be at the service or the viewing, since I've been taking care of my father at the hospital and the rehab center. But I will come and see you, Robb.

I just have to share with you that I am going through my deceased mother's and grandmother's pictures and scanning them. I came across a picture of who would have been your mom's father, Alvin Soderborg. He served a mission in the Central States Mission and sent my grandparents a picture of himself. I googled and found his obituary and then found your mom's. So sorry to hear this. She sounded like a true angel. You were blessed! I believe I was meant to see this today. I live in Nephi, Utah and my phone number is 435-623-4513 if you ever want to contact me. I would be almost 4 years younger than your mom. May you find comfort in knowing we all will be together someday. My mom passed 2 years ago. I am from Oklahoma. God bless you and your family.

My sincerest condolences to the Laurie's family. I feel so lucky to have had a chance to see her at cousin Judy's funeral, give her a hug, and express my love. I'll always cherish our Romney cousins reunions where we could visit for a few minutes.

I found the obituary in the Salt Lake Tribune from over here in South Africa this morning, So sorry to hear of Laurel's passing. So many memories of years long ago as we were growing up next to each other. She was always so fun to be around, if there was something going on at the Davis' she was always there to lend a helping hand. From clubs to water fights and everything in between, I will never forget. I send my best wishes to all the family.

Five years ago my sweet sister passed away from the very same cancer that your Laurel did. From diagnosis to her death was less than four months. What a blessing to know that families are forever. My heartfelt condolences. I have know you two since 1987. I certainly agree with the contents of the obituary and realize how much you will miss her. Knowing of life after death certainly helps but it doesn't cover the profound sense of loss during your time here. Know that we support you and love you!
