Lulu died at her home in the City of Park City on November 16, 2015, surrounded by family, her beloved husband Erick Cabrera Jose Saenz, her eldest daughter Ericka Cabrera Anderson with her husband Carl Anderson, her son Erick Cabrera with his wife Yonessy Petitón Cabrera, and her youngest daughter Mirelle Jasso, with her nine grandchildren, and one of her sisters, Francis Macedo Ramirez. Lulu was also surrounded by the support of her loving friends and family.

Lulu was born on July 31, 1957 in the city of Puebla, Mexico. Lulu was the youngest daughter of nine children born to Carlos Macedo del Razo and Juanita Ramirez Juarez.

Since childhood Lulu has had a great love for music and dancing. As a child she loved bike riding, since she did not own a bike, she would save up her allowance to rent one, she would ride around town all day with a smile on her face. Lulu was a jump rope champion, not easily defeated.

As a teen her passion was basketball, though a very petite woman, she had skill. She knew how to play to win, and was the team member that scored the most points.

Lulu is a great example of true charity that constantly sought ways to serve. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was always there to welcome others. When she noticed a new face in the congregation, she made sure to sit next to them, and helped them feel welcomed; but she didn’t stop there, she would escort them to their classes, she would also use that time to share her testimony of the happiness living the Gospel can bring. At the end of church services, she often invited them to her home to share a delicious meal along with the gospel, her love, and friendship.

Lulu will always be a great example of how to be a great mother, wife and grandmother. Going to ABUELA’S was always exciting for her grandchildren because they knew she always had all of the yummy treats and lots love to share. She was very dedicated to her family putting their needs before her own. Her sincere Love and sacrifices will always be remembered. She was always willing to travel great distances to demonstrate her love. For this reason this trip is necessary so she can continue her mission of sacrifice and love on the other side of the veil.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 12 Noon at the Park City Stake Center, 2300 Monitor Drive, Park City; where friend and family are invited to visit 10:30-11:30am prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Park City Cemetery.
