Our dear mother, grandma, sister and friend; Marian Rose Mower Miner returned peacefully to her loving Heavenly Father on July 26, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born May 3, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Robert Alfred and Mary Lundberg Mower. She attended Ogden High, Weber College and graduated from the University of Utah. She met her husband Wallace Dean Miner and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 14, 1952 officiated by Joseph Fielding Smith. Mrs. Miner was an excellent elementary school teacher for 40 years and a member of the women education organization; Alpha Delta Kappa. Marian was a Daughter of Utah Pioneers as well as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Canyon Rim 4th Ward. In her later years she served faithfully as temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS temple.  Mother loved spending time with her family whether it was traveling, going to Jazz games, or getting together for holidays. Mom also enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and indulging in chocolate or diet coke.

Marian is survived by her children, Rick Miner, North Salt Lake,  daughter in law Nancie Schumacher, MT, Camille (Breck) Salmond, WVC,  Matthew (Melanie) Miner, HI,  Celeste Wesemann, WVC; eight beautiful granddaughters, Heidi, Mallory, Carissa, Melissa, Maddie, Lydia, Monique, and Andrea; four sisters, Ruth, Joy, Alice and Carol; as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wally; son, Scott; and sister, Vera. Her family would like to thank her astounding home teachers, Dr. Robert Hillyard and Marc Lyons; visiting teachers, neighbors and care-givers.
