After my mother passed away at such a young age, my young sisters and I spent many a summer with Uncle Neldon and Aunt Carmen, and all our Cochran cousins. I know that they must have thought we had arrived to ruin their summer each year, but we always felt so loved and welcomed. I never remember seeing Uncle Neldon without a smile on his face. He was loved by the whole town, and I felt honored to call the Cochran clan my family! I recently; spent a few hours here and there visiting Uncle Neldon at Legacy and he was always so happy to see me (especially if I was carrying a strawberry shake!) He so proudly showed me the pictures of my beloved Aunt Carmen, and all of the kids and the grand kids. He would brag about how smart you all are, and he was right! He modestly said you got it from your Mom's side! His love for Aunt Carmen was always present. What a wonderful reunion they must be sharing now. What a special Uncle, and what a special family. I love you all so much! Until we meet again, Uncle Neldon....
