Our dear, sweet and beloved mother, Sheila Bagley Lindquist, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Her children are heartbroken but grateful her suffering has ended.

Sheila was born June 26, 1939, in Salt Lake City to Andrew and Fay Bagley.  She loved growing up in Holladay, Utah, where she also raised her family.

Sheila married Boyd Lindquist in the Salt Lake Temple; later divorced. They had four children, Kari (Mike) Osman, Daren (Melanie), Kathy (Larry) Aiken and Andy (Julie).  She lived for her children, serving and loving each one unconditionally. She was the best mother and our biggest fan! Her children adore her!

Preceded in death by her parents. She looked forward to their reunion - especially with her father, who died in 1965. Survived by her children and siblings, Pamela, Shari and Logan; as well as 10 grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Married Kent Murdock in 2001. He died in 2016.

Sheila was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and had a beautiful testimony of the Savior. She was a great example of Christlike service, charity and love. She enjoyed her time serving in the Bountiful Temple and in many church callings.

Sheila requested a private family service which was held Saturday, July 22 at Holbrook Mortuary. She was laid to rest at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Guestbook to post messages and tributes for the family is available at: HolbrookMortuary.com

Our family will be forever grateful for the tender and frequent care of Dr. Kate Wilson. Our thanks also to Millcreek Home Health and Hospice, and especially to the staff and nurses at Abbington Holladay Senior Living, who made her final months so peaceful and comfortable.

We love you mother!
