Stewart Copley Wilson

Stewart, age 69, passed away 4 days before his 69th birthday at Canyon Rim Care Center where he made his home for the last 13 years.  He was attended by his son Landon Wilson and Landon’s wife Marsha.  Stewart married Maria Wilson, June 17, 1972.  That union produced two sons, Stewart, Jr. and Landon Wilson and a stepdaughter Elaine Rodriguez.

Stewart was a Viet Nam Vet having served two tours of duty.  Stewart’s life was greatly affected by the war having been exposed to agent orange and the horrors of war itself.  Stewart was a steeplejack by trade and was proud of his work and many associates.

Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Fairbanks Wilson and Carma Wilson, his wife Maria and grandchild, Brianna Wilson.  He is survived by his sons, Landon Wilson (Marsha), Stewart, Jr., two granddaughters, Dominique and Danielle Wilson, one grandson, Jose Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the East Millcreek Ward building at 2702 East Evergreen Ave (3435 South) where friends may visit with the family from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the services.
