On July 6th our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully passed away at The Lodge in Holladay, Utah. She was born on June 7, 1927 in Taylorsville, Utah to John Clairmond and Catherine Phillips. Mom was called to serve an LDS mission to the Eastern States. Upon receiving a proposal of marriage from our dad, the Prophet George Albert Smith gave her an honorable release. He then advised her to get married and raise boys to serve missions, which all four sons faithfully did. On April 25, 1951 she married the love of her life, Grant M. Vincent in the Salt Lake Temple and was sealed for time and eternity by Spencer W. Kimball. She loved being a housewife and mother to her five children: Darrel (Zena), Kent (Cindy), Jerry (Janean), Colleen (Jeff) McKay and Jeffery (Darlene). Thelma had 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren whom she loved spending time with in her home. Mom was an active LDS mother serving in Relief Society, Young Women and Sunday School callings. Mom you will greatly be missed!
