Walter "Earl" Bolinder

Walter "Earl" Bolinder was born on January 26th,1936 to Walter and Mildred Bolinder in Springville, Utah. He passed away in Salt Lake City on March 26th, 2024 with his loving son Mike by his side.

Earl grew up in Salt Lake City and attended South High school. He married Marianna Schultz on February 10th, 1956. They were blessed with three sons. Earl worked in the Salt Lake City Police Department for thirteen years and in the security department at Safeway and Smith's Food & Drug grocery stores.

He and his wife Marianna loved to travel. They visited many countries. They especially loved Aruba and returned there many times. During the last years of Marianna's life, Earl was by her side everyday as he cared for her during her lingering illness. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Marianna, son Scott, son Eric, parents Walter and Mildred Bolinder, and sister Judy Sanders. Survived by his son, Michael Bolinder and wife Kristin Bolinder, sister-in-law Christie Schultz, sister-in-law Nancy Vaughn, brother-in-law Max Valerio, sister Millie Rasmussen and husband Gary, brother John Bolinder and wife Jackie Bolinder, and family friend Judy Lund.

The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Oaks Care Center and The Good Shepherd Home and care and hospice staff for their loving care and service to Earl.

The interment graveside service to honor Earl will be Tuesday April 2nd, at 1:00 at Elysian Gardens on 1075 East 4580 South.
