Anthony Tettey Larwerh Obituary

Anthony Tettey Kodjo Larwerh passed away September 26,2019 in Washington D.C. He was born in Logan, Utah October 16,1978 to Ed and Sharon Larwerh. He grew up there and later Park City with his younger brother Bergi where the two often played video games and rode bikes together. He attended The University of Utah with his cousin, Nick, and together with their other Ute friends they travelled around the country (despite the fact that he hated flying) to watch every big Bowl football game from Tempe to New Orleans. After graduation he started accounting (like his Aunt Carolyn) eventually moving to the D.C. area to work for the law firm of Wiley Rein LLP where he made many friends over the decade plus he was employed there.

ln his spare time he loved to volunteer, eat donuts, listen to rap music, watch Survivor and Big Brother, play cards, get free movies from the library, talk basketball, take advantage of the many cultural events in Washington D.C. and play soccer every weekend.

He spoke to his mother on the phone daily (when she wasn't visiting him). He made friends with practically anyone he crossed paths with.

His permanent smile, infectious laughter and kind spirit will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his father Edward Seth Larwerh, and grandparents. Anthony Tettey leaves behind his mother Sharon Larwerh, second mother (aunt) Carolyn Scown, brother Samuel Bergi Asibi Larwerh, twin brother from another mother, (cousin) Nick Scown and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, soccer friends and teammates, the Volunteer D.C. family co-workers from Leger's, Blockbusters, All Resort and Wiley Rein and many childhood friends including the Village kids.
