Curt and I send our condolences to Shelly, Lori, Kim, Sharon and all your family. We loved Uncle Arden and Aunt Kathy. They were both kind, loving and fun to be around. Curt remembers meeting Arden in Sears when Curt was a teenager shopping for guitars and skateboards. Curt thought Arden was a genuinely nice person, and enjoyed our family interactions with him. Arden was loved and respected by many, and his legacy of kindness will live on. Sending your our peace and comfort, Analee and Curt Gravis

Arden was my favorite uncle. I remember him telling stories at family reunions about his adventures with Lowell and Afton and Maurine. He told us some of his experiences in WW II as a medic and how he treated German prisoners who were captured and how he treated them with kindness and respect even though they were on the other side. He showed us a medal and some officer's pins he received from one captive just for giving him some water and treating him kindly. He took us fishing when we were kids and I admired his fishing skills. He always managed to catch a fish even when no one else was having any luck. He was a great man and will be missed. My condolences to all the family. May you be comforted in knowing he lived a full and complete life.
