Our beloved sweet mother and grandmother, Beth Stott White, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday August 25, 2017.

Beth was born on July 18, 1949 to Don Lance Stott and Viola Sears Stott in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She attended and graduated from Highland High School in 1967.  Beth was a member of the Pep Club and has been known to sing the “Hail Highland High” school song from time to time.

Beth was an active member of the LDS church where she served in many church callings including Primary and Young Women’s President. She loved working with the youth and was a beloved leader to all.  She was serving as a church service missionary serving with her husband at the church welfare farm in Sandy, Utah.

Her favorite and most prized calling was that of mom and grandma. Family was her number one priority and her kids and grandkids had no doubt of her love for them. She had a great talent of making family events, gatherings, and celebrations extra special with her enthusiasm and personalized games. She always put a lot of thought into her gifts and you always knew her gifts were picked out especially for you.

She loved the outdoors and spending time in the mountains. Whenever she was outside she felt overwhelming gratitude for all of God’s beautiful creations. She loved reading and traveling with her husband to various destinations. She had a great love for her Savior and shared that love with everyone she met. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best friends.

She is survived by her eternal companion, Jeff; her children, Brad (Barbara) Barrow, Brooke (Aaron) Reynolds, Aubrey Richards, Megan (Bill) Lorrigan, Rock (June) White, Alysia White, Monte (Zoe) White, Krystal (Rusty) Reed, Misty (Tony) Moore, Brooke White; her sister, Donelle Dickey; her sister-in-law, Suzanne Stott; 29 grandkids, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jerry Stott; and her sons, Shawn Barrow and Tex White.

Her family would like to thank Adagio Hospice for their loving and constant care during the last month.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31st at 11:00 am at the LDS Church Butler West Stake Center, 1845 E. 7200 S., Cottonwood Heights with a viewing held prior to the services from 9:00-10:30 am.
