Constance Ann Dayton Dyer

Connie Ann passed away peacefully August 27, 2018. She was born in Hollywood, California on March 17, 1932 to Evelyn and James Dayton. When Connie was 13 years old she contracted polio but never let that stop her desire to live a full and happy life. She was the happiest, most optimistic person you’d ever encounter (or get run over by in her wheelchair). Connie attended South High and went on to work for Watson Warehouse for over 20 years. She also worked for the Utah State Child Welfare program and was the recipient of Utah’s Disabled Employee of the Year award. 

Connie was known for her love of cats, books, painting, movies, and anything to do with St. Patrick’s Day. She is survived by her brother, James Dayton (Becky); nieces, Lisa Smith (Jimmy), Chandra Dayton, Jamie Kennedy (Jeff); and nephew, Chris Richard (Holly).

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Dayton; sister, Carol Lee Spotz; and nephew, Robert Hollberg. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 5th at 11:00 am at the Chevy Chase Ward, 5235 South Wesley Road (1130 East); where friends and family can visit 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service.
