Dorothy Bickerstaffe Robinson

Loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 91.

Born in Michigan to Edwin and Catherine Bickerstaffe. Moved to England where she was raised.  Lived in Canada and then back to the United States.  She married to love of her life, Earle “Syd” Robinson on Jan. 20, 1956 in the Salt Lake City Temple.  She was a steadfast member of the LDS Church and served diligently in many callings.  She was a great lover of animals and donated to many charities.  My mother was very loving, kind and smart and I am just honored that she chose me to be her daughter. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her granddaughter Chelsie Michelle Cox.  Survived by her daughter Karen (Ron) Cox, grandchildren Jason and Lainee, great-granddaughter ChyAnne; sisters Marion O’Grady and Carol Pack and several nieces and nephews. 

Great appreciation to Ron who devoted the past two years caring for Dorothy and very special thanks to Lainee, Lois, Chrissy Dianne and the people at hospice.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday April 26, 2018 at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may visit with the family from 12:30pm to 1:30pm prior to services.
