Faye Haight Condie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 16, 2017. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to John B. Haight and Ada Rosetta Adams on September 18, 1921. She married Russell Condie February 13, 1942, later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

Faye loved people, her friends, her family, and children, she was Grandma Faye, not only to her grandchildren, but the children in her neighborhood as well.  She loved to decorate for holidays and was well known to everyone for her Christmas decorations. She loved to golf, bowl and play games. 

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a member of the Wilford Ward for 69 years.  She was also an active member of “The 49ers” and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and had many close friendships that were developed from these organizations.  She was employed at Cottonwood Hospital and worked in various positions while there.

Faye is survived by her husband, Russell Condie, children, Sandra Nelson, Kathleen Giauque and Scott Condie, eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Haight, Vern Haight and sister, June Randall, grandsons, James Condie, Joel Jenkins and a son-in-law, Thomas Giauque.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Wilford Ward, 3179 South Highland Drive. Friends and family are invited to visit Friday evening 6:00-8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Saturday morning 9:30-10:30am prior to service.
