On June 20th our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully passed away. She was born June 9, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glen and Madge Stone. On May 1, 1953 she was married to the love of her life, Bruce M. Goodrich in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved to travel, see new places, and was an expert cook. There were 3 numbers that were incredibly important to her 7, 25, and 28; which represented 7 sons, 25 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Family was the center of her life. She attended countless basketball, baseball, soccer and football games all to show her love and support for her family. She was their biggest cheerleader. During the latter years of her life, she struggled greatly to remember specific things, but she never forgot the numbers 7, 25, and 28. Within 5 minutes of meeting mom, you were sure to hear about her 7 sons and be offered something to eat. It is apropos that mom passed away on summer solstice, the longest day of the year, as she brought light everywhere she went. She leaves behind her husband Bruce, and sons Randy (Cathy), Cary (Wendy), Mark (Cathie), Craig (Laurie), Brent (Shaaron), and Kent (Julie). She is also survived by her brother Glen and her sister Sue. She was preceded in death by her son Kelly (10).

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 24th, at 11:00am at the East Mill Creek 15th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2600 East). Friends and family are invited to visit Friday, June 23rd, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to the service. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Guestbook to post messages and tributes for the family available at: HolbrookMortuary.com
