What to Expect
Born to Dan and Carole Elton on October 24, 1960 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died June 28, 2019 in Saratoga Springs, UT. Mark was able to experience many cultures and customs as he was raised in a military family. Mark was able to make anywhere he was his home and made friends with everyone around him.
Mark graduated from Olympus High School in 1979.
Mark served a 2 year LDS mission in the Netherlands, Amsterdam mission.
Mark met the love of his life and was married and sealed for time and all eternity to Michelle Morby, on July 10, 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mark was a great husband who loved his wife Michelle more than you can think. Through his example he taught his sons how to love the women in their lives. He was an amazing father. He connected with each one of his children in their own personal way. As a grandparent there may not be any better. He loved his grandkids and they loved him; he was everyone’s favorite.
Mark lived life to his fullest. Whether it be hunting, fishing, golfing, supporting his favorite sports teams or any other activity that he enjoyed, he did them with full effort no matter the outcome. Regardless of the activity, he found the most enjoyment in providing joy for others, especially his family. He loved coaching and supporting his sons in all their sports and activities. If he didn’t know it he learned it and taught it to his children. Mark will be greatly missed as well as celebrated every time a fish is caught, a golf club is swung, and a touchdown scored.
Survived by his wife Michelle Morby Elton, children Jerret and his wife Elizabeth, Spencer and his wife Stephanie, Casey and his wife Viry, Taylor, and Parker, grandchildren Oliver, Eloise, Gwendoline Jane, Theodore, and Olivia, Father Dan Elton and sisters Ilene Stone, LeAnn Zetting, and Holly Pincock.
Preceded in death by his son Lindsey Elton, mother Carole Drage Elton, brother Stan Elton, and sister Cheri Roxburg.
