Personal Information:
Olga Glassett passed away peacefully in her sleep. She served an LDS mission in Uruguay. She survived many health battles with a desire to live on. She was a vivacious and joyful individual who made friends everywhere and anywhere she went. She was an active member of the LDS church and was currently serving as a missionary at the LDS Conference Center. This was a source of joy and pride for her to serve her Heavenly Father and those around her. She was an amateur oil painter who in her spare time liked to work on silk fabric and paint nature scenes and portraits of the Savior. She found joy in her 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She worked at Eastern Airlines later to become Continental then United Airlines, the Utah State Tax Commission and the LDS Church headquarters in the travel department. In all these jobs, she left a trail of love, smiles and great friends. She only stopped working at 80 because she was forced to give the younger people a chance to succeed. Given the chance she would have worked until she couldn’t work anymore. You could always find her at home drinking her Yerba Mate and watching her shows, ready to talk about her kids and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and always put others before herself. She now is with the love of her life. They were a love/match made in heaven. Until we meet again Mama. We love you.
