Penny Elaine McLaughlin Galloway

Penny Elaine McLaughlin Galloway passed away on April 1, 2017. She was born in Durango, Colorado to Carol Danner and Carl McLaughlin.

She went to school in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. She worked with special needs adults and also with the elderly as a CNA. But in her best she loved kids, she fostered 40 boys and one girl. She had two children and five step-children she loved very much.

She was met at heaven’s door by her father, Carl; Bill and Ruth McLaughlin; and Ralph and Dorothy Danner. She loved every minute with her grandchildren, Desaray Taylor and Jayden Hurty; and loved her new grandbaby, Carly, who she got to see only in pictures, but loved her so much. She truly loved her brother and sister, AKA her babies, and talked to them a lot. Her mother missed her dearly when she left New Mexico 14+ years ago, but we all know that it was the best idea she made. She came to marry Roger Galloway, who was a great husband and father. Penny will be missed by many, including family and friends.

Rest in peace our dear sweet Penny.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00am at the East Mill Creek 1st Ward, 2702 East Evergreen Ave (3435 South), where friends and family can visit 9:30-10:30am prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park.
