Raili Annikki Syrjä Fuller

Raili Annikki Syrjä Fuller passed away peacefully at the age of 86.  She was born in Tampere, Finland to Mikko and Senja Syrjä, the youngest of two daughters.  She came to BYU as a foreign student, where she met and married the love of her life, Ramon Conrad Fuller.  They walked hand-in-hand for 59 wonderful years. Raili held a BA in ceramic sculpture, and enjoyed teaching art to children. She taught her family to appreciate beauty and art in all forms. Raili is survived by her husband, Ramon Fuller; her daughters Ramona Stromness (John), and Kristina Yuen (Burton); seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Sirkka Salonen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, where friends and family can visit Thursday evening 6:00-8:00 pm and Friday morning 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.
