Sandra's mother Laura Snow was one of my mother's favorite cousins, and I have known Laura since childhood. My mother was Bernella Gardner Jones, who was born in Pine Valley, and always had the same love for that beautiful place that all her relatives exhibited.
Her Aunt Helen Stout lived in my Ward for many years, so I had opportunities to see those wonderful women quite frequently. I had several opportunities to be with Sandra, but haven't seen her for a long time.
I send my love and best wishes at this time, and hope you will feel comfort and solace because of the good life she led.
With love, Marolyn Siddoway

Sandy was an influential teacher in my Mutual years in Kansas City! Her gracious and spiritual ways blessed my life. Ken asked me to stay with Sandy on several occasions when he was traveling. I learned to make English muffin pizzas from being in their home. Ken gave me a gift from one of his visits to represent the Native American people. The necklace consisted of sterling silver, turquoise and several other stones. I still treasure that gift. When my family was leaving Overland Park, Kansas, to move back to Utah, Sandy and Ken offered me to stay my senior year of high school with them. After several months of consideration, I decided to join my family in the move. I will remember the generosity of the lovely couple, Sandy and Ken Madsen!
