Ellen, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your companion. It was so wonderful that you found each other later in life; and created another new lifetime for yourselves. I hope you will gather comfort from those around you, who love you.

Ellen,
It seems like we just watched you marry this great man and yet it has been 14 years of wedded bliss. We are so pleased you found each other and hope you find comfort in remembering all the great times you've had together.
We love you and pray for you to have peace. Janie and Dave

Marv enriched my life with his service as scout master. He was an example to me of a man, a gentleman, a kind and generous man, a self-examining and ethical man, with many interests. He was careful with his speech and chose words carefully. I remember him reading while relaxing on camp trips. He read passages from The Double Helix to us. He seemed to know something about everything. I have missed him ever since I left Salt Lake City some 35 years ago.

The Tuddenham home was a crossroads of my childhood. When I was young I sat in your living room as my mother and Dorothy and sometimes Nelda Miller and Beth Tolley shared laughter, tears and the other blessings of friendship. It was on your front sidewalk that I waited with my brother Dean for Evelyn to walk to Forest School. It was a stopping off place as my brothers and I walked home from primary and MIA. Marv was the facilitator of all things good in the scouting stories that my brothers regaled us with. It was your dog Blackie that always affectionately welcomed us to your large, lovely, well-maintained yard. Marv was my father's trusted friend and support as they served together in the Richards II Ward. And it was Marv who I saw walking up my driveway a few hours after my father's death to be the first to offer comfort and support. With heavy hearts we have had to say goodbye to Bill and Dorothy, to Blackie and now to Marv. We love you, Tuddenhams, Mary Alice, Evelyn, and Laurie. You have always been in our hearts and now you are once again in our thoughts and prayers as we stop to honor, remember and give thanks for the life of your dear father.
