Anna Lou Francis Ernstsen

Anna Lou Francis Ernstsen, 84, died on June 12, 2021. Her mind was strong and as beautiful as she was, but her body grew weak and tired. Even in her most difficult trials, she always managed to smile, laugh, and stay positive. She was surrounded by loving family members in her final days reminiscing about happy memories.

Anna was married to Don Ernstsen, her husband of 54 years, on November 20, 1956 until his passing on November 29, 2010. They had 4 children (Barry, Brad, Paula and Teresa). Anna was a most caring and fun mother, grandma and great grandma. Each of us felt her love deeply! She spent countless hours preparing delicious meals for the family and constantly wanted to feed you.

Anna attended Morgan High School and still had cherished friendships from the Morgan High group. She was the daughter of Samuel Arthur Francis and Leah May Turner Francis. After high school she attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City and lived in the Beehive House. For a few of her earlier years, she worked jobs at Mountain Fuel Supply and The Hidden Valley Country Club.

Anna was a faithful daughter of our loving Heavenly Father and set a beautiful example for all through the way she lived her life. The family also wants to express our gratitude to the many neighbors and friends that helped and visited her.

Anna is survived by her children, Brad Ernstsen (Kerri), Paula Cannon (Hal) and Teresa Bruin (Doug). One son, Barry, preceded her in death. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren (Erin, Zach, Derrick, Brandon, Emily, Stuart, Jacee, Brecc and Tayler) and 11 great grandchildren (Jesse, Rylieann, Ella, Hudson, Ryder, Rowan, Morgan, Cade, Olivia, Lila and Austin).

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00am at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, with a viewing held in the morning preceding the funeral from 9:00-10:30am at the same location.
