Bruce Alan Phillips, 66, of Brighton, Utah, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at his home. Born on October 21, 1957, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frank and Louise Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Marie Phillips (Kralovetz).
Bruce was a master of the culinary arts and a great photographer. This amazing man was the Executive Chef at Snowbird Ski Resort for 33 years. He spent so much time chasing big game or giant fish with his fellow friends and family. The world lost a tremendous person. He participated in the “Reel Recovery” program, taking cancer patients fishing. Anyone that worked with him, or for him, would say that he always helped his fellow man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Mark and Paul Phillips, his children, Stu Shaw, Matt, Miles, Mitch Kralovetz, Bug Peoples, Darby Ford, Alex Ford, Aleisha Kralovetz, and his 13 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sons, Mark and Mike Kralovetz, and his older brother, John Phillips.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Silver Fork Lodge, 11332 Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Brighton, Utah 84121.
