Claude Reed Obituary

Claude (Jeff) Reed, 56 years of age; passed peacefully on Tuesday October 20th, 2020 in the comfort of his own home.

Jeff was born November 30th, 1963. In Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; To the late Janet and Joseph Reed. He was the youngest of four children, preceded in death by his older brother, Brian Reed. With a heart of gold and the spirit of a rock star, he paved his way to “Rag, Bitch and Moan”.

Jeff met Michelle DeRobertis in 1986. It wasn't long before Michelle tamed that 80’s hair mane and asked Jeff to make her his girl. Two years later in 1988 they welcomed their first born, Coby. Three years later, their second child, Chase was born in 1991. Finishing with their baby girl Jaden in 1994.

Jeff lived out his years doing what he loved most with immense passion. From being a father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He wore each hat with his very own contagious smile, breathtaking eyes, and light hearted flare. Whether he is soaring through the clouds with his life long friend Ernie. Building a backyard half pipe for his son Coby. Growing a garden and reaping the bounty of its harvest with his son Chase. Playing games and getting his daughter, Jaden her first car. He was a hundred percent Jeff till the end. He was loved for his unique charm and walked to the beat of his own drum. Jeff never hesitated to let his loved ones know that he would take a bullet for them or that he was the perfect fit for their fox hole. His love was both suffocating, pure, consistent, and admirable.

Jeff was a craftsman and carpenter for over 30 years. He loved and took pride in his work. Building homes and condos all along the wasatch front. Jeff was one of the most reliable individuals and always willing to drop what he was doing to help a stranger in need. He had a loving connection with dogs, coining himself as a dog whisperer. Chickens would flock to his song and poke at his feet. Jeff's connection with animals was undeniable. He truly was a sweet soul to all living things.

Jeff leaves to cherish his loving memory. His children; Coby, Chase, Jaden, and their Mother Michelle. Siblings; Joseph (Jack) and Kim. Grandchildren; Isabella and Legend. As well as a host of nieces and friends.

May he find eternal peace while soaring high, sending love to those he leaves on this plane, with an endless supply of Slurpees by his side. We will forever miss you. Until we laugh together again, you will always be loved.
