David Berrett Brown, 84 passed away December 6, 2021 at his home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Born August 23, 1937 in Salt Lake City Utah to Wallace Alma and Thirza Berrett Brown. Married Gayle Saunders August 5, 1961 in Midway Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a graduate of South High and then Graduated with a Carpentry degree from Utah Technical College. He worked for Intermountain Peterbilt from January of 1965 until he retired in 2008. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many positions and loved to serve the members of the Butler Hill Ward where he has lived for 58 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle, Cottonwood Heights, Son Todd D(&Melanie) Brown of West Jordan, two daughters, Jill Brown of Cottonwood Heights and Anne (& Rodney)Leek of Riverton, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and a brother Wallace B Brown of Salt Lake, Brother in Law Frank Evans of Beaver Dam, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10, at the Butler Hill LDS Chapel, 2695 East 7000 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 at 11:00 am. Friends may call from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the same location. Interment will be held immediately following the funeral at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Road (10600 S) Sandy, UT 84092.
