Dorothy Elaine Daly

Dorothy Elaine Daly passed from this life on August 19th, 2024 in Salt Lake City at the age of 105. She was born June 6, 1919 in Spokane, Washington to William Lyman Field and Lillian Rosalia Shields. Dorothy married Seaton Maurice Daly Sr. on July 30, 1932.  A private family service will be scheduled at a later date, with an inurnment to be scheduled in the Spring at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, Washington.

Dorothy was above all a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She did volunteer work with Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane and was a valuable member to many of the charitable organizations is assisted with. She loved helping care for people and the community she loved. She loved animals, especially dogs and helped her family in raising several generations. Dorothy was also a gourmet cook, making homecooked meals for her family every evening. A Homemaker extraordinaire.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Seaton Daly Sr, and children Seaton Daly Jr. and Susan Mary Daly.

Left to honor and treasure the memories she’s left behind are her son Timothy Williams Daly (Susan), six grandchildren; Shara Daly, Kimber Daly, Seaton Daly III (Colleen), Molly Daly (Ian), Kathleen Daly (Kevin), and Timothy F.M. Daly (Brittany), as well as nine great-grandchildren; Emilie Arnoldi, Gregory Arnoldi Jr., Isaiah Avery, Seaton Daly IV, Sydney Daly, Declan Dinstell, Fiona Dinstell, Haydon Daly and Griffin Daly.
