Penny died peacefully in her home early Monday morning, Memorial Day. Born in Pocatello, Idaho to parents Harry and Etna Petersen. Penny attended Twin Falls High School, where she graduated in 1965.
We will honor Penny's life in August at her beloved Clark Millers in Idaho.
Penny is survived by her children Scott, Dax, Paley, Gelsey, and niece Duffy along with their spouses, six grandchildren, a great-niece and nephew and two great-grandchildren. She was formerly married to Jerry Shane, the father of her children and Nick Edgar a childhood friend.
Penny had an adventurous life filled with laughter, humor, and mischievous tendencies. Despite Penny's adventurous spirit she loved faithfully, loyally, firmly, and could teach a master class on life lessons. There would be good times and challenging times, but she lived her life by her own rules.
In the end, Penny moved in with her daughter where she spent her final months surrounded by her family, and close friends. Penny was incredibly loved. Her dynamic and colorful personality, along with her loyal, vivacious spirit will live on through those that will continue to honor the many great qualities she possessed.
We love you mom
