Janice Howcroft Reyes passed away November 29, 2019 to be reunited with her parents. Janice was born to Louis Eugene and Melba Loretta Howcroft on July 17, 1946. Janice was raised by Linden and Norma Howcroft in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many times Janice lived with her grandparents, and she spoke about the fun times living with them. She watched her grandfather fall off the porch, they would laugh. Janice endured many challenges in her life, she always conquered them and move forward.
Janice married and later divorced Byron Lee Danvers January 2, 1963; they were married for 19 years. In this marriage, Janice and Lee had five children. Tracey Lynn (George), Troy Lee, Todd Leslie, Trent Leroy (Billie), and Terrance Laine (Tammie). Sadly, our brother Todd passed away prior to Janice in September 2019. Janice often spoke that her children were her greatest accomplishment. She said “I have left my mark on this world, my children.” Janice married Enrique Reyes Jr. (Henry) on April 17, 1993. They shared many adventures and a love for the great outdoors. When they weren’t arguing about the weather, they shared a great love for one another.
Janice is survived by four children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
To the many friends Janice had, your friendship, kindness, and love was valued by Janice. She often talked about all the good times she shared with her friends.
The family wishes to send a big THANK YOU to Avalon West Rehab for their dedication and excellent care of Janice. Without your help, we wouldn’t have made it through this.
To my brothers, Mom loved us with everything she had. Many times in our childhood, Mom struggled to show the love. In the end, Mom said “I love my children more than you will ever know.” It’s not goodbye Mom, we will see you after our journey.
