Janielle Ward Sax, our sweet mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday morning December 11, 2022. Janielle was born in Almo, Idaho, on March 19, 1935, to Harold King Ward and Naomi Tracy Schwaneveldt. She was a graduate of Burley High School and earned her Associates Degree from Utah State University. She married Ernest Vaughn (Bud) Sax on August 10, 1960, in the Salt Lake Temple. Janielle lived most of her life in Salt Lake. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Janielle was a caring person who loved her family, particularly her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Janielle is survived by her son, Ernest Ward Sax and his wife Tracy Webb Sax; her grandchildren, Tyler James Sax, Kelsey Sax and Chase Webb Sax (Karli Bromly); and her brothers and sisters, Shirley Morris, Harold Olen Ward, Brent Schwaneveldt. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters Connie Seamons and Joan Wayment; and husband Ernest (Bud) Sax. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Holladay Cemetery 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah 84117. A viewing will be held prior on the same day from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah 84117.
