Jay Lynn Snyder, age 87 passed away on May 14, 2025 in Heber City, Utah. He was born on August 8, 1937, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Raymond and Janey Snyder.
Jay married his sweetheart Sandra Ann Myers on February 15, 1957. They were married 55 years when she passed away 12 years ago. Jay took wonderful care of Sandra. Jay loved his family, anything western and horses along with woodworking. He retired from the trucking industry driving with P.I.E and Matlack. He was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Where throughout his life he had many callings in the church and served faithfully. He enjoyed serving in the Provo Utah Temple.
He is survived by his children: Cindy (Steve) O’Donnell, Craig (Debbie) Snyder, Caren (Steve) Daniels, Corry (Becky) Snyder, Chad (Barb) Snyder, Clark (Deborah) Snyder, along with 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, sister in law Vicki (Dick) Schroepfer, sister in law Judy Myers.
He is preceded in death by wife Sandra, grandson Shawn Garrett, great grandson Knox Daniels, brother in law Judd Myers, his siblings (Raymond, Betty, Fullmer), and his parents.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary 3401 S Highland Dr. Millcreek, Utah.
