Kathy Jean Davis Moyes, 72

December 5, 1949 - August  2, 2022

Kathy returned to her Heavenly home surrounded by her family on August 2, 2022 in Murray, Utah. Kathy was born to William H. Davis and Reva W. Adams on December 5, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Norman "John" Allen Moyes November 23, 1985 and was widowed in 1995. She has spent the last 20 plus years with her boyfriend Ernie Fenstermaker. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, husband John, brother Steven Davis. She is survived by her sons Dustin (Kimberly) McKinney of South Jordan and Chaice (Maggie) Moyes of La Verkin. Her grandchildren Braxton McKinney, Sierra McKinney, Kaydence Baker, Lydia Moyes, Talon Moyes and Macady Moyes, Her boyfriend Ernie Fenstermaker. Mom grew up in Sugar house and graduated from Highland High. She was a Deputy Constable in Salt Lake County for 25 plus years. She loved her garden and her animals. She was a lover of service. She spent time helping at the humane society, other animal shelters, helping mothers in need, just to name a few of the places she loved to serve. Mom loved the outdoors and had a cabin in Hideaway Valley. She loved feeding and watching the deer on her property. She was a lover of a multitude of sports and was the team mom for the Salt Lake Trappers.

We as a family want to thank all the medical professionals who helped with mom over the last little while, especially the last 2 weeks. Especially those in the Thoracic ICU at IMC in her last few days they were wonderful in helping her and our family through this hard time. As to moms wishes there will be no viewing. A Celebration of life will be held September 17, 2022 from 2pm-5pm at the pavilion behind the LDS Chapel at 4800 W. 7000 S. West Jordan, UT. In Lieu of flowers the family asks to please give donations to the Humane Society of Utah in her name
