Laurel Deane Gleue

Laurel Deane Gleue, age 99, passed away on November 30, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 8, 1924 in Delta, Utah to Laurence Pratt and Elverna Catherine Blackburn. She married Henry William Gleue on July 28, 1943.

Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Great grandmother, and Great great grandma. Her family adored her, she was feisty, funny, and always a cheerleader for the Underdog. Everyone loved Laurel Deane. She leaves a legacy of family and friends that will miss her, and will carry on her loving, feisty attitude.

She is survived by her daughters; Pam ( Chad) Heil of Salt lake City, Utah, Cathy (Kraig) Dahl of Twin Falls, Idaho; Linda (Frank) Morgan of Saratoga Springs; Sons: Jared (Janet) Gleue of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mark (Nancy) Gleue of Salt Lake City, Utah;  and Brother: Bruce Hair of England, along with 23 grandkids, 59 great-grandkids, and 2 great great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Henry, son, David Gleue, and grandchildren, Justin Heil and Kristi Heil.

Services will be held on Thursday December 7, 2023 at the East Millcreek 9th Ward building located at 3750 Hillside Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah. Services will begin at 11 AM with a viewing to be held at the same location from 9:30-10:45 AM. In the event, you cannot attend in person, the services will be live streamed and can be found at Holbrookmortuary.com.

Interment will follow these services at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
