Marc Sullivan

On December 29th (in their home in Sandy, Utah) with his family surrounding him, Marc Sullivan, lost his eight-year battle to cancer. He fought hard but, in the end, he slipped into a pain free peace. Sandy and her children, Jake, (Lindsay), Shannon (Alex) and granddaughters, Dylan and Boston, were left with lifelong memories for which they will be forever grateful. 

Sandy was the love of Marc’s life. Marc and Sandy were married for forty-five years, best friends and always together. He treated Sandy like a queen. Marc was loved and admired by everyone he came in contact with. He was a kind, sweet, caring man. His sense of humor was universal and made everyone laugh.

Early in Marc’s life his passions included working on cars, motorcycles and racecars. There was NOTHING he couldn’t build or fix. If it didn’t exist... he would make it.

This led him to his fifty plus year career as a machinist and Mastercam dealer for the Mountain West. He was able to build strong friendships with all of his customers and colleagues. 

He split his time between his Sandy, St. George and Star Valley homes, where he loved to play pickleball with Sandy and all of his wonderful friends. Marc loved his children and was so proud of what they have accomplished and who they have become. His granddaughters Dylan and Boston always made him laugh and brought him endless joy. He loved them so very much. Marc adored his two Yorkshire terriers Taz and Tiki and they will miss him dearly.

Marc’s life lessons, jokes and drive to finish what he started will forever be remembered by his wife, kids, and dogs.

A celebration of Marc’s life will be held at a later date in the springtime. Date to be determined, when we can safely gather with family and friends.
