Margene and Harold had 10 children: Larinda (died April 13, 1975) Deanna (Steven), Roger (Lolli), Cory Lou (Heber), Melanie (Jerry), Jeanne (Bryan), Harold (Roxanne), Daniel (Kare), Burke, Jonathan (Julie).  Margene loved her family and loved spending time with them.  Mom loved to play games like Slam-Bangsies or Creepy Crawler, or round-the-world ping-pong.  She loved doing puzzles. Fountain Green was always very special to her and she loved spending time with family, especially for Lamb Days.

Margene loved music, and playing the piano.  She played the piano for many years in church services.  Margene was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attended the Temple as often as she could, and frequently volunteered her time and talents.  She loved to sew, make quilts and crochet.

Mom endured many trials in her life.  With ten babies during her young life, 8 brain surgeries to remove tumors in her middle years, and significant challenges with her back, eyes, etc. in her later years.

Margene has 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, and there are 4 more on the way.
