Margie Mae Shore Nichols (February 22, 1925 - June 16, 2020) was taken back to her Heavenly Father today. She died surrounded by her loving family; Pat (Jan) Oswald, GayLynn (Steve) Marion, Mark (Maya Hardman) Nichols, Bradley (Jennifer) Nichols, Douglas Nichols, and Laura (Bret Miller) Nichols.
Margie was born and grew up in Salt Lake City, graduating from East High before marrying Virgil Houtz Nichols Jr. (a WWII veteran) August 3, 1946.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an avid bowler at the Sue-Rich Lanes.
She is preceded in death by her parents (Harold and Lillian Shore), brother (Harold Shore Jr.), husband, and son (Virgil Garry Nichols).
Interment will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 am. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
