Marian Millard Stagg Niebuhr

On Saturday, July 10, 2021, Marian Niebuhr, loving wife and mother returned home to her Father in Heaven.

Born October 23, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Vern and Laura (Reiman) Millard. Married Robert D. Stagg on June 19, 1952, later divorced. Married Harry A. Niebuhr on June 28, 1986.

Marian worked as a cosmetologist for many years and for the State of Utah, Office of Recovery Services.

Marian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved studying the gospel and truly loved the Lord with all of her heart. She served in many church callings working tirelessly serving others.

She loved to create and was artistically talented. She sacrificed so much of her time and love for her family and others. Many people benefited from her selflessness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Laura (Reiman) Millard; brothers, Kenneth Millard and Lowell Millard; and husband, Harry A. Niebuhr.

She is survived by her children, Michael and Jerryl (Stagg) Holtkamp, Robert B. Stagg, Ronald S. Stagg, Terry and Janette (Stagg) Keefe, Troy and Patti (Stagg) Belnap, Douglas C. and Pam Stagg. She has 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Family and friends will gather Thursday 9:30-10:30am at Holbrook Mortuary for a family prayer followed by a graveside service at 11:00am at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, Utah.
