Mary Waldroup Obituary

Our dear mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on the 27th day of September 2021 and returned home to the loving arms of our Father in Heaven and to all of her loving family and friends who she so anxiously waited to see again.

Mary was born on January 4, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Douglas and Margaret Ruth Midgley and was the 4th of 6 children born into a loving family.

Mary grew up and lived most of her life in East Millcreek where she made many lifelong friends. She attended Rosecrest Elementary School, Evergreen Jr High, and Skyline High school.

On October 11, 1969 she married David R Waldroup and was married 52 years, they  had two children Travis and Misty whom were her life. From those two children she had 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Being with her family was Mary's greatest joy whether it was with her siblings, children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren, if she was with family she was at her happiest, she cherished her family and put them at the center of her world.

Mary had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, she was a friend to all. She always put others needs above her own and was constantly concerned about the wellbeing of others.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her loving parents Doug and Margie, and great-granddaughter Sage Waldroup.

Survived by husband David Waldroup, son Travis (Lyndie) Waldroup, daughter Misty (David) Bulloch; grandchildren Ashley (Brittnay) Waldroup, Tyson (Jacee) McGrath, Alyssa McKee, David (Chelsea) Waldroup, Tori (Ryan) Sessions, Cayden (Destiny) Waldroup, Tylee Bulloch, and Tia Bulloch and Skylie Burningham; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Jerzi McGrath, Channing McKee, Kayden, Kyson, and Luke Sessions, Aubrey, Kace, Rhen, and Millie Waldroup, Ella and Beau Waldroup, Mikayla and Colin Green.
