Pamela Ilene Wells

Pamela Ilene Stone Wells, age 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on February 15th, 2025. Pam was born on November 20th, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is where she met the love of her life, Scott Wells, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship for 51 years, marrying in 1973 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

They built a life full of love and adventure, residing in Salt Lake City, UT; Woodridge, IL; Littleton, CO; Nibley, UT; and finally settling in Las Vegas, NV. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Pam lived a life of service, devoted to kindness, and love for all.

Pam was an avid and gifted quilter; each quilt she made was a reflection of her love, care, and creativity. She also had a deep passion for music and found joy in playing the piano and organ. Throughout her lifetime, she served 45 years as Ward/Church Lead Organist at the residing locations mentioned above. Whether filling her home with melodies or sharing her talent with others, music was a source of peace and happiness in her life.

Nothing brought Pam more joy and happiness than her family. Grandma’s house was a special place for all of her beloved children and grandchildren to gather where they could come to feel safe, be at peace and feel unimaginable and unconditional love. She never missed any activities that her children or grandchildren were involved in. She loved creating holiday memories with her family and was especially generous during Christmas.

She is now joyfully reunited with her beloved son, Scott Kenneth Wells, and her parents, Rose and Glenn Stone and many other loved ones that were waiting for her.

Pam’s love and legacy live on through her devoted husband, Scott Wells; her four siblings, Glenn (Carla), Mike (Ilene), Cindy, and Scott (Kim); her five children, Heather (Dean), Kimberly, Emily (Mike), David (Amy), and Ricky (Angela); and her eight grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Zach, Nathan, Bentley, Carter, Devan, and Lexus.

Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find peace in knowing she is embraced by the arms of those who have gone before her. “Until we meet again.”

Friends and family are invited to visit Sunday evening, March 2nd, for a formal viewing from 4:00-6:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary 3251 South 2300 East Salt Lake City, UT. Funeral services will also be held Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary, with a brief viewing prior at 11:00 am. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park will immediately follow the service. 

A luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Holladay 1st Ward Building, 2065 East 4675 South, Holladay, Utah after the graveside services.
