Obituary for Robyn Lynn Jensen
She died on December 31, 2023, in Salt Lake City UT. She was born on May 9, 1952, in Los Angeles, CA.
Her parents were Richard Treweek and Tannia Treweek. She married Les (Leslie) Joseph Jensen on December 22, 1970.
Robyn passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. As a young woman, she was an avid and excellent water skier. She competed and won water skiing events at Bear Lake Utah. She loved drag car racing and was a pit crew team member for her uncle Nick Treweek and his famous Tiajauana Taxi funny car. Robyn was an excellent driver and drove Nick’s brand-new Corvette in the “powderpuff” drag race at Uncle Nick’s insistence. She was so proud because she didn’t “red light” that race. She loved driving her jet boat on Bear Lake and for years was the instructor for numerous friends and family learning how to water ski. Her favorite place to visit was her property and the beach at Bear Lake. She Loved animals and was known to rescue countless stray cats, dogs, birds and other critters. Even though she dealt with chronic health problems, she opened her home and heart to people in need. She also loved to gamble and karma repaid her giving spirit by winning numerous jackpots playing high dollar slots in Wendover. She had the “gift of gab” and was able to engage in hours long conversations with friends as well as strangers. More than a few telemarketers found themselves telling Robyn their life story after calling to “make a sale”. She was a fantastic cook and prepared special family meals on a regular basis. Her true joy in life was her family, including her husband Les of 53 years, daughter Natali and son in law Matt and their 4 children Christian, Nick, Garrett and Tessa. She had an amazing sense of humor and contagious laugh. She was a jokester and loved playing pranks on family and friends that she described as “shenanigans”. Her giving even extended to after her death by being an organ and tissue donor. Her family encourages everyone to consider and sign up to be an organ/tissue donor.
She is proceeded in death by her daughter Leslie Jensen, parents Richard and Tannia Treweek, Dean and Beth Jensen, other loved ones, and many personal pets.
Funeral services will be at Holbrook Mortuary. Viewing on January 7, 2024, from 6-8 PM and then services at Noon on January 8th with graveside event to follow.
